Welcome to the Woodlawn Baptist Church Young Adults Class Home Page

We invite you to join us around 9:30 a.m. for a time of coffee, juice, and goodies in Room
M-206, upstairs in the Memorial Building.  Bible Study begins around
9:45 a.m. as we meet around circular tables to explore God’s Word.  Our Bible study is
discussion oriented based on various themes or topical studies.  Come with the
expectation to share and talk about the application of Scripture in our lives.  

While we meet, our children are also receiving quality care and applicable instruction for
their specific age-group.  Corporate worship follows at 11:00 a.m. in the worship center.

Presently, the 11:00 music has a contemporary style while the 8:30 a.m. worship is a
more traditional style of music.  Children under the age of 4 are cared for in the nursery
during worship services, while children 4 and older attend corporate worship with their
parents.  A worship packet is prepared and given to them during the Children’s Time.

Throughout the summer, we will extend Pastor David Ritsema's sermons through
discussion during our bible study time each Sunday morning.  Topics for this study

UPCOMING EVENTS

Vacation Bible School - June 13 - 17, 2010
Join us Sunday, June 13 at 5 pm for our VBS Kick-off! We'll have free Hot Dogs, petting zoo,
bounce house, and ranch games! We'll dismiss for Vacation Bible School at 6:30 pm which will
begin with a Worship Rally led by J.K.  VBS is open to children from 4 years to those who have
completed the 5th grade.

Parents' Class - "Have a New Kid by Friday" - June 13 - 17, 2010
"Have a New Kid by Friday" is the study for parents while their child (or children) attend VBS. If you
would like to attend, contact lane@woodlawnbc.org or check the box on the communication card
and place it in the offering plate during service.

All three classes are FREE!  All classes meet in
Great Hall. Child care is provided at no charge on
